On our way home from Kyle's parents' house in Salem, I needed some flowers for a shoot in the next day and thought of irises and how we were at the time in their seasonal window. The accumulation of the two happenings reminded me that we were only minutes from Schreiner's Iris Gardens, and I had never been before. On our way home, we stopped by to take a look, and now I will forever never seen irises the same way. Such strangely beautiful and beautifully strange flowers. They come in all the best colors in so many different mixes and variegations. Completely enchanted by their beauty, if I ever settle down somewhere and start a full garden, they'll definitely be stealing the spotlight of mid-spring.
Schreiner's Iris Garden is a must see for flower lovers. They have endless varieties in their gardens and displayed to be purchased in a gallery. It's so special, Nicolette Camille and Saipua host a Little Flower School class there every year.
